As the founder and farmer of Wayflowering, the regenerative flower farm co-located with Thistlerock Mead Company, Christine’s work strengthens our local ecosystem, builds careers for people displaced by violence, and provides our honeybees with a nourishing, sustaining habitat. Christine is also a professor of public policy and politics at University of Virginia’s Frank Batten School of Leadership, where her scholarship centers on solutions that empower refugees worldwide. In addition to traveling the world with her husband, John Kluge, and their daughter Mirren, Christine is also an equestrian and accomplished fiddle player.
